In South Thailand, farmer Sai Yud Chansawang has successfully cultivated a unique variety of durian called the ‘volcano durian.’ With a thin shell, rich and aromatic flesh, and smaller seeds, it has garnered attention and created a high demand from customers across the country. Sai Yud’s orchard, spread across 15 acres, is the first known volcano durian orchard in Southern Thailand. Each tree yields 50 to 70 kilograms of fruit, and with more trees potentially yielding a full harvest, Sai Yud could earn 3 million baht per year. The organic cultivation and exceptional taste make this durian variety stand out. Meta Data: {“keywords”:”volcano durian, Thailand, organic cultivation”}
