Utah woman Ruby Franke, known for her parenting advice on YouTube, has been arrested and charged with child abuse after her emaciated son escaped their home to find food. Franke and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt were both taken into custody. The child, believed to be around 12 years old, had open wounds and duct tape on his extremities. Another child was also found in poor condition in a nearby home. Four minor children have been removed from their parents’ custody. Franke’s YouTube channel, “8 Passengers,” had previously faced criticism for its strict discipline methods.
