Two American nationals, Richard Carl Speth Jr, 85, and Kelly Marie Bennett, 65, were found dead inside a hotel room in Pattaya. The couple had been staying at the hotel for about a month and were reportedly experiencing health problems. Hotel staff raised suspicion after noticing a strong odor from the room and found the bodies when they entered. Police suspect the couple may have taken medication to end their lives as pills were found near the bodies. Forensic officers have been called in to determine the exact cause of death. The bodies have been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for further examination.
