Thailand has reported its first monkey pox-related fatality in a man who was also infected with HIV and syphilis. The 34-year-old patient was diagnosed with monkey pox after being admitted to a hospital in Chon Buri province. He later developed a sore throat and fungal infection, along with lung and brain infections. Despite receiving treatment, the man died from the disease. Thailand has seen a total of 189 monkey pox cases, with most being among gay men also infected with HIV. The increase in cases is attributed to high-risk behavior.
