The Royal Thai Navy has issued a security alert warning Thai shipping operators about the potential threat of sea mines in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and the Strait of Hormuz. Rear Adm. Parach Rattanachaiyaphan emphasized the importance of caution and following security measures to ensure the safety of Thai vessels and crews in the region. The Navy advised vessels to avoid high-risk areas, conduct risk assessments, and report any suspicious objects or incidents immediately. Operational guidance on responding to sea mines was also provided to reduce risks and enhance safety.
