A decade-long study conducted by executive and Professor Bruce McKenzie on Thai leadership has proven remarkably accurate. The research, based on global data and insights from diverse Thai groups, identified six key leadership approaches. These include building resilience, fostering flexibility and innovation, promoting intergenerational dialogue, rebuilding trust, emphasizing continuous learning, and managing both short- and long-term strategies. Thai organizations that have implemented these principles have thrived. However, implementing these changes at an individual level can be challenging. The study highlights practical applications for Thai life such as scenario planning, agility, innovation, mentorship, open communication, and continuous learning. Balancing short- and long-term perspectives is achievable through clear and adaptable strategies. Empowering teams and prioritizing initiatives are recognized as critical elements of effective leadership.
