Thai Immigration Warns of Scam Digital Arrival Card Websites

The Immigration Bureau in Bangkok has issued a warning to foreign travellers about fraudulent websites offering Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) services for a fee. The TDAC, introduced last year, must be registered online for immigration screening purposes through official government channels only. Despite warnings, at least 10% of arrivals have used fraudulent websites, risking data security. The Bureau is working with other agencies to shut down these sites, but enforcement is challenging due to their overseas hosting. Travellers should verify website addresses before sharing personal information.
