An 18-year-old girl named Natthikarn Khairum, also known as Aum, has been critically injured in a shocking acid attack in Buriram. The incident occurred while Natthikarn was dining with her family at a local eatery, resulting in severe burns on her skin. Her aunt and grandmother were also affected but to a lesser extent. The attackers, two unidentified men in a vehicle without license plates, poured two jars of corrosive acid on Natthikarn. She was rushed to the hospital, but the full extent of the damage is yet to be determined, with the possibility of permanent sight loss. The motive behind the attack is suspected to be related to a previous relationship Natthikarn had. The Nong Rong Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
