Police arrested a Thai man for attacking and robbing an old woman in Nonthaburi, leaving her injured at a bus stop. The victim, identified as 78-year-old Malee Charoenkorn, was found by a passerby and reunited with her granddaughter after a social media post seeking relatives. The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Nattapong, confessed to the crime due to financial problems and admitted to pawning the victim’s phone for online gambling and drugs. Malee was taken to the hospital for treatment of her wounds.
