Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his 34 cabinet ministers are set to take the oath of allegiance before His Majesty the King at the Royal palace on Tuesday. After a group photo shoot at Government House, they will travel to the palace for the ceremony. The prime minister is expected to present the government’s policy statement to parliament on Friday, followed by a debate. In mid-September, he will attend the UN General Assembly in New York with Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara. Prior to that, the prime minister and transport ministers will meet with motorcycle taxi drivers to discuss their services and problems. The Thai cabinet is currently one minister short.
