Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin emphasized the importance of tourism as a short-term economic stimulus during a meeting with eight airlines and executives of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. The executives suggested increasing flights by at least 20% to cater to the tourist season, expanding opportunities for tourists from large markets such as China, India, and Brazil, and increasing the number of government-approved planes for tourism promotion. PM Srettha introduced key party members involved in tourism and commended the AOT for their cooperation in promoting tourist activities. The aim is to boost income and stimulate the economy in the short term.
