Thailand’s incoming prime minister, Srettha Thavisin, visited Phuket province to meet with business people and residents, accompanied by Pheu Thai party staff responsible for promoting tourism. During the visit, Srettha and his team met with the head of the Airports of Thailand Public Company to address issues at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The prime minister-elect also engaged with tourism operators to discuss the government’s strategy and development plans for Phuket. The following day, Srettha traveled to Phang-nga province to meet with tourism operators and discuss wellness tourism.
