The 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment designated Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary, Nam Nao National Park, and Phu Kradueng National Park as the 56th and 57th ASEAN Heritage Parks. This was a significant accomplishment for Thailand and highlights the country’s commitment to preserving its natural resources. Phu Kradueng National Park stands out with its sandstone cliffs, savannas, and diverse ecosystems. Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary and Nam Nao National Park are both located in the province of Phetchabun and are home to rare plant species and wildlife. With these additions, Thailand now has nine ASEAN Heritage Parks.
