The approval of the designation of Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary, Nam Nao National Park, and Phu Kradueng National Park as ASEAN Heritage Parks was a highlight for Thailand at the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Jatuporn Burusphat, emphasized the potential for managing Thailand’s natural resources at the ASEAN level. Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary and Nam Nao National Park are located in Phetchabun province, while Phu Kradueng National Park stands out for its sandstone cliffs and diverse wildlife. Thailand now has a total of nine ASEAN Heritage Parks.
