The executive committee and MPs of the Pheu Thai party will meet to discuss the House speakership issue. Pheu Thai’s leader, Chonlanan Srikaew, insists that the Speaker of the House must not represent any specific party. Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat has offered Pheu Thai an opportunity to resolve the speakership issue before the House convenes to choose the speaker and two deputies. The leaders of the eight coalition parties had a meeting but barely touched on the speakership issue. The party aims to offer a resolution in the public interest to help form the government by pro-democracy parties.
