Locals on the island of Koh Pha Ngan in Thailand are raising awareness of the Full Moon Party’s week of events, which has expanded from a single one-night party. The group of local businesses hopes to spread the word about the pre-parties and post-parties that take place alongside the legendary Full Moon Party. In the past, accommodations in Haad Rin used to have a minimum five-night stay requirement during the party dates, but this has changed due to increased competition and the drop in tourism from Covid-19. The businesses want backpackers and young travelers to experience the diverse nightlife and the variety of events that Koh Pha Ngan has to offer. Local restaurants and shops are also hoping to attract tourists to explore the island and try different food.
