A notorious online fraudster, Chicha Chaiyasit, has been arrested in Bangkok after evading authorities for over six years. Chicha, who falsified her educational qualifications, presented herself as a graduate with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and used these credentials to secure high-ranking positions in large corporations. She embezzled assets worth over 6 million baht, while portraying a luxurious lifestyle on social media. Additionally, Chicha was involved in fraudulent online sales and frequently changed her name and residence to avoid arrest. The police, not convinced by her claims of being unemployed, handed her over for further legal proceedings. Officials warn the public to be cautious of online fraudsters and their deceptive profiles.
