A newborn’s body was found discarded in a rubbish bag inside a shopping mall restroom on Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok. Police are investigating, reviewing CCTV footage, and questioning witnesses. The incident was reported at 4.24pm on March 20, with no visible injuries on the infant. A cleaner discovered the body while collecting rubbish and immediately informed the security guard. In a similar incident, a newborn baby girl’s body was found in a banana grove near railway tracks in Bangkok’s Talat Phlu area. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to trace those responsible.
