The Move Forward party has yet to decide whether it will support Srettha Thavisin, the prime ministerial candidate of the Pheu Thai party, according to party leader Pita Limjaroenrat. Core members of the Pheu Thai party recently met with Move Forward party members to seek their support for Srettha, but no conclusion was reached. The Pheu Thai-led coalition, currently consisting of nine parties, has 238 votes in the House of Representatives, but this is not enough to form a majority government. The coalition may consider inviting other parties to join or seek support from individual MPs and senators.
