A fatal shooting incident occurred in Trang, Thailand, after a heated dispute over leaving a light on. Udom, a 61-year-old man, was shot once with a homemade handgun by his 24-year-old adopted son, Kritsada Chunglok. Udom was found dead in the bedroom, while Kritsada sustained an injury from a sword held by Udom. After receiving stitches at the hospital, Kritsada confessed to the crime and revealed the location of the discarded weapon. The argument stemmed from Udom’s habit of coming home drunk and picking fights. Kritsada shot Udom in self-defense after Udom attacked him. Kritsada is now charged with murder.
