An Iranian motorcyclist crashed into and killed a Finnish man in Pattaya while the victim was crossing a road at a zebra crossing. The Finnish man, Mika Kristian Turpeinen, suffered serious injuries and later passed away in the hospital. The Iranian motorcyclist, Gennady Yaluner, was also seriously injured and remains hospitalized. Witnesses reported a loud motorcycle engine traveling at high speed before the crash. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the cause of the accident. This incident adds to a series of fatal motorcycle crashes involving foreign riders in Thailand.
