He was wrongfully arrested on June 13 based on a warrant from Ratchada Criminal Court for failing to report to the court. Despite his parents’ attempts to bail him out, their requests were denied. However, the intervention of Ekaphop Luangprasert and his team from the Saimai Must Survive news page, as well as the victim’s family, led to Anucha’s release. The actual offender, a friend of Anucha, was arrested later. Anucha’s release raises concerns about seeking compensation and investigating the errors in the case.
