Cases mainly occur on short international flights lasting no more than three hours. Passengers are advised to take care of their belongings and check them regularly while traveling. It is suggested to keep cards on oneself at all times and utilize card-control features in mobile applications to reduce the risk of theft. A Thai woman was arrested for conspiring with Chinese suspects in credit card theft at onsen establishments in Bangkok, resulting in losses exceeding 200,000 baht for victims.
