Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul strongly supports the continuation of Thailand’s medical cannabis policy. He believes that if used properly, cannabis can provide significant benefits. Anutin expressed confidence that the new government will not end the policy, as it is still on their agenda. He emphasized the need for discussions among government members before making any changes to the policy. Anutin also mentioned the regulations implemented by the Public Health Ministry to control cannabis use, such as forbidding smoking in public spaces and preventing minors from purchasing the drug.
