BANGKOK (NNT) – A recent survey conducted by the Department of Health Service Support (DHSS) in Thailand found that 9.1% of young people in the country use e-cigarettes, with the highest rate of usage reported in Bangkok at 14.6%. The survey gathered responses from over 61,000 individuals between April and June 2023. The results have raised concerns among public health officials, who are now suggesting the regulation of e-cigarettes and the end of the ban on vaping. Two other areas in Thailand, AH No.3 and AH No.9, also had high rates of e-cigarette use. Meta Data: {“keywords”:”e-cigarettes, vaping, public health”}
