Provincial Police Region 6 officers apprehended a Thai man, Pitsanupanya “Jack” Teppin, who had snatched a gun from a police officer in Uttaradit province. The incident occurred after the offender was flagged by Traffic Police officer Chitipun Kunnarmang for illegal modifications on his motorcycle. Jack refused to stop and engaged in a high-speed chase with Chitipun, later attacking him and stealing another motorbike using the snatched gun. Jack evaded capture for several days, with the assistance of his friends. Authorities tracked Jack’s whereabouts and finally arrested him in Phitsanulok province. The suspect has a history of escaping arrest on drug charges.
