A gas explosion in Pathum Thani province destroyed a townhouse and damaged eight neighboring homes. The blast occurred in the Chao Phraya Villa housing estate in Ban Klang, Mueang district, with no injuries reported. The homeowner, Pawannaphat Pranatphong, and her family of four escaped unharmed. Initial investigations suggest a gas leak as the cause, possibly due to a valve not being fully closed. Pathum Thani governor Ekkawit Mipian visited the site and ordered inspections of affected buildings. Temporary shelter has been set up for affected residents, with engineers conducting detailed inspections of damaged homes to prevent further failures.
