A group of Thai transwomen physically assaulted a foreign woman on Bangla Road in Patong, Phuket. The altercation was sparked by the foreign woman allegedly causing a disturbance and provoking conflicts with the transwomen. The incident was captured on video and showed the foreign woman striking one of the transwomen, leading to a scuffle that escalated as more transwomen joined in. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no complaints have been filed with the police as of yet. This incident is reminiscent of a similar case in Pattaya where a foreign woman was also attacked by Thai nationals.
