The incident occurred at 4.40am in Hat Yai municipality, Songkhla province. The victim and her boyfriend reported that they were sleeping when the lights went out. The attacker, who had been lurking outside their room, grabbed the victim and forced her into the room. He attempted to perform anal sex but settled for oral sex instead. The police are investigating the case and searching for CCTV footage to identify the attacker.
