Chiang Mai University (CMU) has partnered with the Stock Exchange of Thailand to launch an entrepreneurial platform called “Builds”. The platform aims to help students turn their research projects into profitable businesses and create job opportunities in the northern region. CMU plans to become an entrepreneurial hub and aims to contribute 60 billion baht to the economy within the next four years. The Builds platform aims to produce over 4,200 entrepreneurs and 240 companies by 2026, while also generating more than 4.5 billion baht in revenue. CMU will provide financial support and a range of entrepreneurial programs for students.
