The Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai has announced the second batch of 20 artists and unveiled the new pavilions that will be featured in the upcoming art festival. The biennale will showcase the works of 60 artists from 21 countries, taking place from December 9, 2023 to April 30, 2024. The curatorial team has led the artists to visit various sites in Chiang Rai to gain cultural context and create site-specific works. The festival aims to present the rich cultural heritage and contemporary art of Thailand to the world, generating revenue for the tourism industry and art communities.
