Canadian police have filed 12 new charges against Kenneth Law, a man accused of selling a substance over the internet to assist people with suicides. Law is suspected of marketing the substance, often used as a food additive, online to individuals at risk of self-harm. The charges bring the total against Law to 14, all stemming from cases in Ontario, Canada. Police suspect that Law may have potentially sent over 1,200 packages to more than 40 countries. Investigations into Law’s activities are also underway in the United States, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.
