A 35-year-old retail store manager and his friend drowned after their boat capsized in a reservoir in northeast Thailand. The incident was reported by a woman who was present at the scene but did not join them in the boat. The manager’s body was found on the shore, while search efforts continued for his missing friend. The boat had a leak, causing it to sink when they were in the middle of the reservoir. The woman survived as she did not join them in the boat. Similar boat capsize incidents have been frequent in Thailand.
