This sentiment is held across age groups and political parties, with 89% of Republicans and 69% of Democrats agreeing on Biden’s age being a concern. In comparison, about half of U.S. adults think Donald Trump is too old for the presidency, with Democrats more likely to disqualify Trump based on age. The poll also shows that two-thirds of adults support age limits for candidates in presidential, congressional, and Supreme Court elections.
