The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has made a groundbreaking decision to allow students in schools under its supervision to have freedom in choosing their own hair styles and to wear casual dress at least one day a week. This decision comes after increasing demands for freedom and liberties in schools. The new order recognizes the rights and human dignity of the students and instructs schools to develop rules that comply with the new regulation. Additionally, to ease the financial burden on parents, schools must allow students to dress casually once a week.
