Bangkok Airways is increasing ticket prices and adding fuel surcharges starting April 1 due to rising oil prices, with CEO Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth stating that domestic fares will rise by 15 to 20%. The airline has hedged 30% of its fuel costs and may need to adjust its annual plan if prices remain high. Despite this, advance bookings for the Songkran period in April are stable, and the airline plans to expand airports, renovate Samui Airport, and increase its fleet. Financially, Bangkok Airways reported a net profit of 3.5803 billion baht last year. Sales strategies include targeting markets in Europe, Thailand, and the Middle East for growth.
