Thai police have arrested American TikToker and English language teacher Luke Nathanael Rockwell in Bangkok for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old Thai girl who was his student. The girl’s mother reported that Rockwell had a sexual relationship with her daughter and recorded a video of them having sex. Rockwell was charged under Section 319 of the Criminal Law and may face imprisonment for two to 10 years and a fine. Rockwell, known for teaching English on TikTok with over 1.3 million followers, had his account set to private after the arrest. The incident follows other recent cases of sexual assault by teachers in Thailand.
