10% of foreign arrivals used fake TDAC sites, immigration warns

Thailand’s Immigration Bureau warns that 10% of foreign travellers are using fraudulent Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) websites. All travellers must register through the official platform for free before arrival. Pol. Maj. Gen. Choengron Rimpadee urges travellers to use only the official website or Immigration Bureau’s main site to avoid scams and unnecessary fees. Registration should be completed online at least three days in advance to reduce processing time at immigration checkpoints. Authorities are tracking and shutting down fraudulent websites, but enforcement is complicated due to many sites being based overseas. Cooperation with relevant agencies and airlines is ongoing to ensure correct TDAC registration.
