The author found that the Withings scale provided consistent results but acknowledged the importance of taking these numbers with a grain of salt. The scale runs on four AAA batteries and has a long battery life. Ultimately, the author found that using the scale normally with numerical values and graphs had a negative impact on their mental health, leading them to prefer the Eyes-Closed Mode to focus on body recomposition goals.
