The CMA has given both companies five business days to propose binding solutions to address these concerns. If the response is unsatisfactory, the investigation will proceed. Figma, established as a significant player in the market, is seen as a competitive threat to Adobe, and the CMA is concerned about the potential negative impact on innovation, costs, and product offerings. Adobe’s acquisition of Figma, valued at $20 billion, would be the largest in the company’s history.
