For some unknown reason, Twitter is becoming less useful as it no longer allows users who are not logged in to see any tweets. Previously, logged-out users could still browse tweets and user profiles, but now they must either sign up or input login credentials. It is unclear if this is a technical error or an intentional decision, but it may impact Google’s inclusion of tweets in search results and services that scrape data from Twitter. This move could also discourage non-users from joining the platform. Despite Twitter’s need for more users and revenue, this decision may not be wise.
