TikTok is discontinuing its TikTok Now feature, an alternative to the popular app BeReal. The move is not surprising given the decline of BeReal, which saw a significant drop in daily active users. TikTok Now was launched in response to BeReal’s success but did not gain much traction among TikTok’s large user base. A Google search for “TikTok Now” shows that many users were seeking information on what the feature was and how to get rid of it.
