The Game Boy Camera has been given a mini makeover by modder Christopher Graves. The Game Boy Mini Camera is the size of a Game Boy cartridge and features the original camera’s sensor, memory map controller, and capacitors. Graves also added an iPhone XR lens for minimal protrusion and the ability to capture new types of shots without compromising image quality. The camera can be inserted into the cartridge slot and even run ROMS. Graves plans to further refine the design by potentially swapping out the lens for an iPhone 14 lens in the future. The miniaturization of the camera is a testament to how far technology has progressed since the original Game Boy Camera was released in the late 1990s.\n
