Spotify is reportedly considering adding full-length music videos to its platform, in an effort to compete with Apple Music and attract viewers who currently watch videos on YouTube. The streaming service has already included limited video content such as podcasts, storytelling clips, and GIFs. Despite not generating significant revenue themselves, music videos could supplement audio income and increase exposure for artists. This move would also help Spotify diversify its income streams after facing challenges earlier this year. The company has not provided any official comment on the potential addition of music videos.
