Sony is shutting down Dark Outlaw Games, a first-party game studio led by former Call of Duty producer Jason Blundell, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. The studio had yet to announce its project, but Blundell’s experience with Call of Duty hinted at a multiplayer game for PlayStation. Sony has been cutting staff and shutting down studios, signaling a retreat from online multiplayer games. Despite this, Sony is still working on various projects like Horizon Zero Dawn spin-offs and other multiplayer games.
