For nearly eight years, Joe Tung led development on Riot’s hit MOBA, League of Legends, before leaving the company to cofound Theorycraft Games. Their first project, codenamed Project Loki, is a squad-based hero battleground game where players compete on a large Fortnite-inspired battleground. The studio aims to promote player creativity and strategy adaptation. Theorycraft Games, supported by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, plans to create the next big game like LoL or Apex Legends. The studio has announced a two-day PC playtest starting on June 29th. To participate, sign up on Theorycraft Games’ website.
