Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, NASA’s orbiting spacecraft, captured stunning footage of the arid Martian desert. Using its powerful camera, the High Resolution Imaging Experiment (HIRISE), the orbiter revealed vivid imagery of the volcanic terrain within an ancient crater called Aram Chaos. The footage showcased the rumpled and disordered surface, likely caused by molten rock or water movement beneath the Martian ground. Meanwhile, NASA’s exploration rovers continue to search for signs of past habitability and even primitive life on Mars’ surface. The Perseverance rover is currently investigating the Jezero Crater, believed to have once hosted a lake and rivers.
