Eharmony’s Dating Diaries report reveals the differences in attitudes towards sex and dating between millennials and Generation Z. The study, based on a survey of over 2,000 people, shows that millennials prioritize sex in relationships more than Gen Z, with 91% of millennials in relationships having sex at least once a week, compared to 78% of Gen Z. However, Gen Z is more sexually explorative, with 46% trying more than six positions this year, compared to 40% of millennials. Gen Z is also more likely to have unprotected sex. The report also highlights shared views on STI and HIV stigma, as well as preferences for emotional connection before having sex. It also shows that most Gen Z singles use dating apps and social media to meet potential partners, and many have experienced dating app fatigue.
