Google Keep, the note-taking app, is finally adding a version history feature that allows users to download previous versions of their notes and lists. However, the feature is currently only available on the web version and does not include images. It is surprising that Google didn’t offer this basic feature earlier, especially considering their similar functions in Google Drive apps. The implementation of the version history is also peculiar, requiring users to download a file and manually copy text back in. Nonetheless, it is a step in the right direction for Keep.
