Google has brought its Search Live feature to every place offering its AI Mode chatbot, allowing users to ask questions about objects or scenes by pointing their phone’s camera. The feature was first introduced at I/O 2025 and is now available in over 200 countries and territories. Google has updated Search Live to run off its Gemini 3.1 Flash model, promising more natural conversations and a faster, more reliable experience. Users can access Search Live through the Google app on Android and iOS, or through Google Lens. Simply tap the “Live” button to get started with the feature.
